Ghosts of the Isabella
Ghosts of the Isabella is a 4-part docuseries about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum Heist. On the morning of March 18, 1990, two men, disguised as Boston Police Department officers, entered the famed museum, disabled the security system, tied up the museum guards, and spent over 81 minutes alone in the building. During that time they collected thirteen items including priceless paintings by Rembrandt, Vermeer, Flinck, Degas, and Manet. The value of these paintings has been placed at over half-a-billion dollars. As of 2022, the case remains unsolved… until now.
The series, currently in production, will reveal never-before-heard testimony from a Winter Hill Gang member who played an active role in the heist and is the only living person that can explain the fifteen unsolved murders surrounding the case. This Southie gang member has been identified in confidential FBI records as one of the masterminds behind the greatest robbery in world history. Once complete, the series will air on MGM’s Epix Network.
